Vlog number 1
As someone who doesn't watch a lot of vlogs, I began by looking at a youtuber I've watched for a while.
LilyPichu is part of OfflineTV squad, while she is in videos with the group she has her own channel where she pots videos and on there you can find a few different vlogs, now while they aren't consistent and theirs not a lot they are there and I find them to be more in my interests then other vlogs.
The vlog I liked most was the one linked in, this is because it is more upbeat, the vlog starts with them going to the grocery store to get some food for the OfflineTv cast, the video then transitions back to there house where we hear them talk about having no content for the vlog as their home and foreshadowing that they might just turn it into looking at the dog for the rest of the video, which 15 minutes later in real time but inly a-few seconds later in the vlog they get a puppy called Divinky, we then go to the store again at night this time before it turns to the next daylily and Michael play with the DIvinky for awhile as Temmie looks jealous for a bit before they introduce the two dogs and for the rest of the vlog we see Divinky playing with Tammie the other dog.
the vlog then ends with lily saying bye and sorry to herself when shell be editing it, before going into a recording of DIvinky again for 10 seconds.
One the technical side of the vlog, we have a few edited bits, that are put in after the vlog is filmed such as a transition from the store to their home at 0.26 seconds in, on multiple occasions words pop up on screen that have been added after such as *Foreshadowing* and an animated thing of going to the grocery store at the start of the video.
The video cuts from the store to home, then from the dog to the girls playing with a Ouija bored, to the dogs again, at this point this a song added in the back ground for a few seconds, and in the bottom right corner she says who it's by.
Their is also sad music for anew seconds when they play with Davinky and Temmie is jealous.
The stylistics' of the video is very happy and up beat, I think its done like this as it is a happy thing, that they are doing so they want use as an audience to know that.
Vlog Number 2.
The second vlog is all about Lily's dog Temmie, the video starts with lily talking about her new camera while pointing it at Temmie, this being the best way for her to make sure the new camera is good and give us content, she then takes Temmie to get a groomed, and we see how cute the dog looks all clean and tidy.
about half way she then goes to the dog park, in hopes that Temmie will go and play with some of the other dogs, she talks about how her dogs playing and all the dogs having fun before they eventually go home and feed Temmie.
towards the end of the video she shows us what tricks Temmie can do, which is very cute and then the video ends with lily shaking Temmies paw before the end music comes in.
One the technical side of the vlog, their is editing of writing added through out the video for hits we might not have heard so easily, it then shows us an time skip animation, for while Temmie is in the grommers, this is obviously to save time and not bore us.
The video has different music played in the background during a montage of Temmie, at points she zooms in as Temmie is further away and it's needed, theirs also an error screen at one point that's been added in after during editing.
The stylistic's of the video is very happy and up beat, it mostly show use how the dog is during the day, and what she does, it is mostly a very cute and wholesome videos through out the whole thing.
Vlog Number 3
The last vlog i chose is all about the groups Christmas, now while the group has changed throughout the past year because of afew reasons, this video is good and wholesome, it is mostly just everyone celebrating the day together and having a very fun time, Lily vlogs the day, of them all just having fun, exchanging gifts.
the day starts with everyone in the kitchen preparing Christmas dinner for later on,before going on to everyone talking in the living room and then opening gifts, the video end with everyone sat on the stairs singing a Christmas song, the energy in the video is very upbeat and happy.
One the technical side of the vlog, their is a constant jingle sound in the back ground to help show its Christmas, at times they zoom in on afew things to see what they are and what's going on more.
As normal theirs editing of writing added in after, of things we might not have heard as well as a draw face of who spoke.
The stylistic's of the video is the video is more festive then anything as it's Christmas, so the video is light and happy, the video is constant with humour and happy moods.
Legal Considerations', 'Ethnical Considerations' 'YouTube Community Guidelines
-How does YouTube's Copyright policy work? The copyright policy works by someone sending in a valid legal complaint or take down notice, you tube is required by law to remove the content.
-What is Content ID? Content ID is an automated enforcement system, it lets some of the biggest rights holders find their work, thats being used by others and claim the video instead of taking it down.
-How can Content Creators be punished for breaching copyright or community guidelines?
if the rules are broken the they are given a copyright strike against their account, if they get three copyright strikes then their account will be terminated and the videos will be removed from YouTube. their is no warning for copyright strikes, the first two have no impact on the account or what features you can access.
-Why do you think that YouTube is so harsh with their 'strike' system?
I think that YouTube is harsh with the system so that creators stick to the rules and don't break them as much, so that YouTube can be a happy online place without hate or anything, and so that creators can still make an income with out just coping anyone else.
-Explain a step-by-step process of how you can successfully make an income online without breaching any policies addressed in the above video resources.
ONE; set up a channel with an original name, Two; Make the channel aesthetic personal and different. Three; start creating original videos that are fun and quirky, or serious depending what the channel is about. Four; edit the video, if theirs people in it who didn't consent to being in it then edit that bit out, add music from somewhere like the YouTube library , so that it is copyrighted. Five; double check everything before posting it, if the video isnt an original idea link the person in the comments, as well as linking the music.
BONUS:
-Which ethical considerations do you need to pay attention to whilst creating YOUR vlog and WHY?
For my vlog, the ethical considerations I need to think about are most likely profanities and maybe what is said, as ill be out in public and ill need to make sure I have not only all my families and friends consent but the waitresses or waiters too, and if they say no I will have to respect that and keep them out of the video.
Production research

- Camera.
- phone
- Sound recorder
I think ill need a camera or my phone for the obvious reason of it being a vlog, which is a video log so I will need to record it.
I think ill need the sound recorder so I can record the audio clearly.
the sound equipment I think would work best would be a tie mic or a sound recorder, this is because ill be recording more then just myself so its easier to have something I don't have to take on and off.
where as a sound recorder will be alot easier to use for the vlog.
The cost for my vlog will be pretty cheap however the event wont, as it is my birthday meal and first drink as its my 18th. I'll start filming the vlog in my room, then the kitchen before we head off to the restaurant for the meal the vlog will then end at home.
Crew wise it'll be me mostly be me but at points may ask my uncle for help.
legal and ethical considerations i dont believe i will have to as its just going to be a family event but i will take into consideration to keep conversation light and happy and edit out anything that might be dark or stange.
